FORMER QUEEN OF IFE ZAYNAB OTITI OBANOR AS AN ANGEL OF MERCY. Earmarks N100M for distribution at N10000 each to 10000 people.

The beautiful and quite stately, former wife of the revered monarch of Ife and in fact, Yoruba race’s most prominent royal father bar none, his imperial majesty, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi Ojaja II, in the person of the former Olori Wuraola, better known now as Zainab Otiti Obanor has refused to withdraw into ignominious silence and existence since after her marriage to the monarch hit the rocks, going to 2 years now.

Instead, in her own little way and with her substance, she has been impacting one way or the other on her immediate society, personally and also with her foundation known as the Queen Zaynab Foundation, QZF for short.

Like many kind-hearted persons or better still souls who have stood up gallantly to be counted amongst the angels of mercy during this painful period of the COVID-19 (Cononavirus) pandemic, she via her Foundation has extended her hand towards the less privileged, many of those, in very great numbers if we can really emphasize it most appropriately, who are the ones greatly affected by this lockdown.

According to the information at our disposal, the highly connected Queen’s Foundation, is giving out N10,000 Naira each to 10000 indigent people. And if our calculation is very correct, that’s talking about at least N100Million Naira intervention! From an individual who has never at any time boasted or shouted to the world about her networth!

If for anything at all, we must commend the lady who her ex-husband named then as “Wuraola” which is a deep Yoruba name that speaks very much about esteemed or highly valued or highly appreciated treasure.

According to the extremely gorgeous former Queen, “We hope by providing the basic needs available to these individuals the ability to stay home and not been forced to go on the street will be lessened. Proper hygiene, self- preservation and isolation is important at this time to contain the spread of COVID-19. We are hopeful and prayerful that this pandemic will be over soon without more causalities”

She went further saying “This issue has shown that Nigerians have a sense of community as we have seen how able and good people have come together over the last few weeks to render supports to the affected and less fortunate. No individual can do it all alone but we can all collectively help those who will struggle to survive during this period. As we look forward to better days ahead.

A massive kudos we dare say!
