Just 3 years ago now, 16th of March 2017 on Eko Bridge, Lagos, to be more precise, this supremely gorgeous Northern belle, ‘certified Queen of lifestyle’ and ‘former beauty queen’-Maryam Elisha, who is now an ‘award winning fashion designer of note’, had the misfortune of having her then beautiful Mercedes Benz G wagon shockingly engulfed in a strange fire, which completely burnt out the very expensive SUV on the bridge. Even the onlookers who had tried to help douse the inferno were helpless and in mad shock, knowing the value of the burning automobile!
Though she narrowly escaped death that day by whiskers, she was thoroughly shaken to her bone marrow, but she took it all in her stride as one of those things that happens in the journey of life. Trusting in God. She moved on.
But like the proverbial ram, who decided to take several steps backwards, maybe to go get or build momentum for the new charge, the young lady afterwards not only got another befitting machine, she in fact took delivery of a brand spanking new ‘Range Rover SUV’ just to compensate herself. That’s a car that even if cheap, goes for at least tens of millions (if used not less than N35m and if brand new about N60 to N65m Naira depending). The statuesque beauty, behind the award winning fashion brand ‘Rikaotobyme’ with HQ at Opebi, Ikeja, Lagos got the Range Rover as some form of compensation not too long after the G Wagon got burnt.
Fast-forward now to Xmas day of Friday, December 25, 2020 just 2 days back and just immediately after celebrating her birthday, the gorgeous beauty, who is also a known philanthropist, woke up to receive another ‘wonder on wheels’, to add to her growing and intimidating garage. This time around it’s a brand spanking new, gorgeous black Lexus LX570 SUV. A car that if it’s used, it is not less than N35m and if brand new around N60m Naira. The wrapped beauty was parked in front of her place before she came down to meet the impressive surprise. So conservatively now that’s at least N100m Naira parked coolly in her garage!
Obviously, after that misfortune of about 3 years ago, its obvious that business even with the whole pandemic invoked lockdown of a whole year must have been super awesome.
We must say kudos to the ultimate ‘queen of lifestyle’, who once while arriving from a trip abroad a while back came in with the full compliment or the collection of the most wanted Louis Vuitton travel boxes (suitcases). By that we mean about 7 or 8 of the super expensive (luggage collection) travel cases. Which retails for about a minimum of $80000 that’s at least N37 plus million Naira by the black market calculation of today! Her total bag value for that trip, from what we saw couldn’t have been less than a $100000, that’s a whooping N46.5million Naira! Check out the picture here!
So if just a one-off collection of 9 to 10 bags cost just about N46.5million, what’s a N60million Naira car then to such a queen?
