Mrs. Bella Disu
Belinda Ajoke Olubunmi Disu, Chairman Abumet Nigeria Limited

‘Otunba Dr. Micheal Adeniyi Agbolade Ishola Adenuga Jnr’, the owner of Globacom, Conoil Producing etc is not just only blessed with extraordinary amount of money/assets that’s considered staggering, especially as one of the top 100 wealthiest in the whole world; God has been so kind to him also to have, very brilliant, very humble, unbelievably hardworking children- males and females, who are all doing excellently well for themselves at their various vocations even at a relatively young age and who are doing him massively proud.

Though not too much is known about his eldest son and 2nd born, Jide Adenuga 40, he would be 41 in 2021, except that he is a budding entrepreneur, doing his own thing. He owns 3 Inclusive Ltd, the exclusive importers of Montaudon Champagne, Veri Beri & Shiraz wines. He shuttles between London & Lagos. The little known about the 1st born ‘Oyindamola Adetutu Emilia’ is also that she’s also an entrepreneur and that she got married sometime ago to her darling, Ade Olufeko.

But the 2 most popular of the kids of the reclusive billionaire follow each other back to back, that’s talking about Paddy Adenuga, the founder of Pegasus Capital Investments Ltd, a former co-CEO at both Glo and Conoil Producing and his immediate younger sister, ‘Belinda Ajoke Olubunmi Disu’ better known more as ‘Bella Disu, 34, born May 29, 1986.

The focus today is on the most well known child of the the bull, in the person of the very impressive, very intelligent Bella, who is the ‘Executive Vice Chairman’ at the 2nd largest network operator in Nigeria- Globacom, at just 34, answering only to her dad. She’s also a non executive director at construction giant, Julius Berger, which is unarguably Nigeria’s biggest construction firm bar none. She’s also a director at Cobblestone Properties and Estates Limited, owned also by her dad, with an extraordinarily impressive portfolio of assets in real estate and properties.

Just this January of 2021, she was elevated to the position of Chairman, board of directors of Abumet Nigeria Limited, effectively taking over from, prominent businessman and politician, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur. Abumet Nigeria Limited, is a subsidiary of Julius Berger Nigeria, and is one of Nigeria’s leading, most resilient and reliable aluminum and glass solution provider companies.

Everything about Bella has been very quick, just like her immediate elder brother,-Paddy who got into a University at the age of 13, she also got into the University at the age of 14. She actually began her education like Paddy at Corona School, Victoria Island, then off to the famous Queens’ College, Yaba, Lagos before changing to the equally famous Vivian Fowler Memorial College for Girls, where she finished in the year 2000, then off to the University of Massachusetts, Boston for her Bsc in Political Science & International Relations and then her Msc in Leadership at Northeastern University, Boston Massachusetts both being Paddy’s alma mater.

She joined Globacom immediately after graduation in 2004 and has risen now to ‘Executive Vice Chairman’ answering only to her dad, she’s in fact the prime minister of maybe the conglomerate. She became a ‘Group Executive Director at Cobblestone Properties and Estates Limited’ in 2011, just a year after she got married on April of 2010 at age 24, at a ‘most lavish ceremony’, said to have been the ‘wedding of the year’ then bar none to her hunk of a husband, ‘Jameel Adetokunbo Disu’. They are blessed with 2 kids.

In 2019 via Cobblestone Properties and Estates Limited, she opened her own 10 storey, ultra modern and super luxury apartments at Bourdillon Road, Ikoyi which she named ‘Sisi Paris’. In the same 2019 she became the Executive Vice Chairman at Globacom. She’s a recipient of the ‘Ordre des arts et des lettres’ given to her by the French Government for her contributions on the preservation of arts and culture.
